Kanji of the day is Natsu – 夏 – なつ
In ancient times various festivals were held for the ancestors during summer season and various dances were dedicated to them. There are 3 parts in this kanji. Top is hat, middle part represents a person and last part is feet of the person. This kanji represents a person wearing a mask on face and decorative items on head and dancing with fluttering both hands and feet.
