スマートフォンのQRコードをかざして入店するだけでレジを通らずに買い物ができる売り場をそなえたスーパーが27日、横浜市にオープンすることになりました。 このスーパーは横浜駅近くにある「イオンフードスタイル横浜西口店」で、27日のオープンを前に、26日は店内の一角にあるレジのない売り場が報道各社に公開されました。 この売り場では、利用客がスマートフォンの専用アプリで表示したQRコードを入り口でかざせば、好きな商品を手に取ってそのまま店を出てもあらかじめ登録したクレジットカードなどの情報で支払いを済ますことができます。 天井にある35台のカメラと商品棚に設置された重さを量るセンサーによって、利用者がどの商品を手に取ったか判別するしくみで、商品を棚に戻せば購入しないことも認識できるということです。 この売り場には弁当や飲み物などを中心に、およそ400種類の商品が並び、朝の通勤時や昼の休憩などで、レジに並ぶ時間を惜しむ客層を中心に需要があると見込んでいます。 運営会社ではこの売り場の利用客の状況を見ながら、今後の展開を検討したいとしています。 |

This supermarket is the ``イオンフードスタイル横浜西口店'' near Yokohama Station, and ahead of its
opening on the 27th, the store without a cash register in a corner of the store

At this store, customers can scan the QR code displayed
on a dedicated smartphone app at the entrance, pick up their favorite product,
and then leave the store and pay using their pre-registered credit card
information.
The system uses 35 cameras on the ceiling and weight
sensors installed on the product shelves to determine which products a user has
picked up, and can also recognize if the product is not purchased by returning
it to the shelf. That's it.
